Drydock ("the app", "we") is a Shopify app. This page describes exactly what data the app touches. It is short because the app is built to store as little as possible.

What we store

When you install Drydock we store: your shop's myshopify domain, the API access token Shopify issues to the app, and the content you create in the app — rules, published versions, saved test cases, scheduled publishes, and in-progress builder state. Billing is handled entirely by Shopify; we never see card numbers or payment details.

What we never store

We do not store your customers' personal information. Checkout rules run inside Shopify's checkout infrastructure (Shopify Functions); the customer's cart and address are evaluated in memory during checkout and are never sent to or retained on our servers. Simulator scenarios are synthetic data you type in; they are only kept if you save them as a test case. We run no analytics or tracking scripts in your admin or your checkout.

Where data lives

App data is hosted on Vercel (application) and Neon (Postgres database), plus a simulation service on infrastructure we operate. All traffic is encrypted in transit.

Deletion

Uninstalling the app deletes the shop's access token immediately. We honor Shopify's GDPR webhooks: a shop-redact request purges every record we hold for that shop; customer data requests return nothing because nothing is stored. You can also email us for deletion at any time.
